Having raised over $650 million in their Buyout Fund IV, LP, Mason Wells, a leading Midwest private equity firm, turned to MVP for a new site and brand communications redesign. MVP reinforced the client’s value to the private equity and investment banking community while appealing to business owners and intermediaries as well. Leveraging the premise of “Private Equity. Midwest Integrity,” MVP upgraded the firm’s brand and communications on and off the web.
Through an evolutionary logo refresh and series of home page cityscapes ranging from Milwaukee to Chicago and from Minneapolis to St. Louis, MVP energized the site through such form and functional improvements as interlinked home-to-sub-page business sector pages, clear and concise case icon-enriched case studies, a friendly and approachable team section featuring print-page functionality, and a multivariable portfolio section filterable by sector, fund and current/former status.
MVP’s design for the all-important portfolio section features a multivariable filter that enables PE execs to sort by business sector, fund and current/former status. Given the need to update portco logos, news stories and related images, the client can add, delete and modify effortlessly through the site’s Joomla! content management system (CMS). MVP also provided customizable and print-friendly HTML email and newsletter assets, which supplement Mason Wells’ outreach efforts.
