From their advanced production facility in Fridley, Minnesota, Twin City EDM (TCE) has been creating quality parts from prototype to high volume production in industrial and medical applications since 1959.
Recognizing that their former site, which was based on a template solution from one of the major industrial parts directory providers, wasn’t making the grade in terms of either wowing customers or for that matter Google, TCE turned to MVP for a manufacturing website makeover.
Precise attention to detail was crucial in creating such a complex multi-market site. Working collaboratively with TCE’s leadership, MVP’s design team rolled up their sleeves to immerse themselves in the client’s business. In order to communicate such manufacturing specialties as Swiss & Lathe Turning, CNC Milling, Wire and Sinker EDM accurately—and with added visual impact—MVP created original icons to attract prospective customers and guide them to capabilities pages and from there to case studies.
The website’s UX design further leads visitors down the conversion path. Every page is designed to emphasize professionalism, quality and innovation. And the site’s attractive and modern type font encourages visitors to take the next step and contact TCE.
Gradient colors and precise imagery work with the right tone of copy to ensure Twin City EDM projects a high level of experience, enthusiasm and care for every project they undertake.
As impressive to update and manage as it looks, the custom-designed MVP site goes well beyond “out of the box” WordPress solutions and basic backend administration. TCE marketing staff can not only make complex content changes with ease but even add whole new sections and pages types to enable the site to keep pace with the company’s growing needs and new capabilities.
