Fidus Partners was founded in 2005 and currently operates offices in New York City and Charlotte. The company provides merger and acquisition advisory, debt advisory,  and capital raising for private equity firms, public and private corporations, and family-held businesses.

Fidus, Latin for “Steadfast, Dependable and Trustworthy,” has built a 25-year track record of innovation and success through its senior professionals who deliver trusted advice and superior deal execution. Premised on the firm’s “best of both worlds” advisory platform positioning – the senior execution and focus of a smaller boutique combined with the scale and resources of a larger investment bank – Fidus tasked MVP with delivering a high-impact yet cost-effective site that would readily communicate its  advisory services through distinctive imagery and interactive design.

With its eye on a web presence comparable to other world-class middle market M&A and capital advisory services firms but constrained by budget, Fidus Partners was attracted to MVP’s new and innovative MVP TeamPlate℠ WordPress website software platform. Having initially started and then stopped an earlier theme-based website, which did not provide the flexibility of MVP’s proven “form follows function approach,” Fidus realized that MVP’s solution would offer custom website design flexibility with the cost advantages of SaaS- and theme-based websites.

The site is a creative juxtaposition of Charlotte and New York City imagery and boasts a streamlined User Experience (UX), dynamic deal statistics, a filterable industry menu selector featuring MVP’s custom tombstone builder, and an MVP-customized backend content admin system that surpasses “out-of-the box” WordPress installs. Fidus’s new site enabled this “Best of Both Worlds” advisory firm to double up on projecting its brand through a modern responsive CMS website that’s as impressive on mobile devices as it is on desktop.
