The Halifax Group is a private investment firm that partners with founders and managers of lower middle-market businesses. Their reach is widespread with offices in Washington, D.C., Dallas, TX, and Raleigh, NC. The firm has over 100 years of combined experience and manages more than $1.5 billion of committed capital.
Halifax came to MVP with a vision for a redesigned private equity website that would embody its core values of partnership, integrity and honesty. They wanted both a look and functional improvements that combined professionalism, warmth and fluidity. And they required a site that would incorporate the latest in CMS and web technologies to function as well as it appeared.
MVP designed and built a site from scratch that would change the way in which its stakeholders interact with the firm. The first stage of the process reorganized the wireframes to optimize user experience (UX). The new site directs intermediaries, limited partners and entrepreneurs to the content that is most relevant to each.
And looks do matter. MVP stepped up to the brink of cutting-edge private equity website design to deliver an online experience that would give visitors an extremely positive and enduring first impression. Photography on the site departs from stock to showcase the Halifax partners at work. MVP chose large and engaging photos relating to the different sectors Halifax targets for a twist on standard hover animation. Collaborating closely with Halifax marketing and management, MVP created a branded look that is cohesive and original. And importantly, all of the images and copy resize for mobile devices. The MVP-customized WordPress Content Management System (CMS) makes it easy for Halifax employees to add pages with minimal training.
“When we saw some of the distinctive private equity websites MVP created, we knew that we had found the right firm. We valued the dedication and expertise they brought to every stage of the project. They were able to design our vision, listen closely, keep everything moving, and exceed our expectations. Thanks to everyone for going the extra mile, we love the final result.”
