Socius Global is a worldwide partnership of 40 middle-market investment banking professionals focused on providing innovative financial and strategic advisory solutions to a global clientele involved in complex, cross-border transactions. As a consortium of some 18 independent M&A firms ranging from North and South America to Europe, Asia and Australia, the Socius team sought a new and revitalized digital brand and complementary easy to manage website that would help to distinguish their trans-national entity from larger and more recognized bulge bracket firms. Following an intercontinental digital agency search, Socius tapped Minneapolis-based MVP to help them look global while acting local.

Eschewing a quick-fix template site, Socius asked MVP to expand its horizons and offer up a “better together” customized website that would convey their networked ability to seamlessly advise clients around the world on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate finance transactions, and strategic matters. Not only did they require a new site, but a new logo as well.
Given an audience of entrepreneurs, private equity groups and corporations seeking access to the global marketplace, which is characterized by differing business cultures, customs, regulations and political systems, MVP portrayed Socius as a trusted partner, serving clients with tailored guidance informed by local knowledge. Such features as revolving home page globe, an icon-illustrated industry index that links to representative transactions, a dynamic deal section powered by MVP’s unique tombstone maker, which does not require use of Photoshop, and a continent-based team filter, demonstrate that at Socius, Global is the New Local.
