Yeti® founders Roy and Ryan Seiders are renown for introducing the “cooler of choice” for outdoor enthusiasts, pros, tailgaters, and backyard barbecue kings. Together with a prominent private investor, they formed a venture capital fund that invests $500,000 to $5 million per company. Given a tight deadline, limited budget and no previous creative assets, MVP was charged with kick starting a new site in record time.
With limited content and minimal direction provided by the VCs, MVP’s web pros set to work and created a one-page, WordPress CMS website that communicated the brothers’ love of the outdoors and willingness to share their know-how with well-qualified entrepreneurs. Tasked with the job of reorganizing and displaying site content in a way that enables credible visitors to contact Roy and Ryan, MVP created illustrated icons and playful “mouse over” interactions to visually enhance the experience and underscore that only serious business plans should be submitted via the Captcha-protected contact form. The result: One small site for the founders…One big opportunity for management teams wild enough to get funded.
