Achieve3000, Lakewood, New Jersey, is the leader in online differentiated instruction. Serving over three million learners worldwide, A3K asked MVP to follow-up its earlier rebranding and website success with a user experience (UX) and User interface (UI) overhaul for their EmpowerPro® software. (The program helps teachers and students enrich curriculum through challenging grade level texts and self-directed reading.) Beyond refreshing the visually outdated and tired looking software User Interface (UI), MVP was also challenged with reworking the little used Career Center, which was intended to encourage student engagement and time on task.
The MVP varsity creative team went back to school by analyzing the site’s UX, UI and content structure. By following our proven MVP TeamMate℠ development process, first period consisted of wireframing new “student stickin’” site functionality and structure. This translated into new Homepage and Career Center designs; these areas enticed students to pause and explore various career options. Overall, our back-to-school redesign resulted in an enhanced career center in synch with today’s trends and MVP’s earlier rebranding and redesign efforts. Ultimately, by creating a planning tool facilitating student career options, MVP received extra credit for captivating learners through a revitalized UI enriched by large images, strong fonts and emojis. Curious clicks now equal empowered learning!
“MVP and has been nothing but professional and accommodating to anything/everything Achieve3000 could ask for. I’m more than happy to recommend MVP…”
Tracy Vigus, User Experience Manager
