Up for its third consecutive MVP website in five years, New York-based Cortec Group was ready for a change. The firm, which manages more than $2 billion in its three active funds, was searching for a sophisticated yet approachable site that would appeal to owners and management teams throughout North America. They also wanted to rule out the potential security breaches they had heard could occur with open source and .Net content management systems.
Transcending the template-driven approaches of many other PE firms, we created a custom site for Cortec with features like a CEO testimonial video, custom photography, interactive calls to action (CTAs), dynamic charts, hover effects, and colorful iconography. Additionally, our emphasis on efficient content organization and advanced filtering allow the beautiful new site to load quickly.
To address Cortec’s security concerns, we programmed the new site using a static site generator. This allows the site to operate with greater flexibility, greater security, and increased reliability compared to content management systems.
With a secure back-end and great new design, Cortec’s site secures the best interests of the firm and its stakeholders.
“MVP has been our go-to partner for website design for the last five years. After speaking with MVP, it was clear they understood and could execute on our requirements. Our newest and second consecutive MVP website redesign demonstrates their deep knowledge and understanding of private equity industry communications, our business and marketing requirements, and their commitment to a form follows function approach, which is far superior to the many template-based, and quite frankly vulnerable, solutions we saw from other agencies.”
