Whether you’re in search of distinctive brand messaging, a new website, supporting communications, or post-launch digital marketing for your firm or one of its portcos, trust our more than 20 years’ experience in serving leading PE, sub-debt and investment banking firms throughout North America. With award-winning work for such clients as River Associates, Mason Wells, Keystone Capital, Shoreview, JZ Partners, Dominus and Cortec Group and more, MVP has built its reputation as the “PE MVP” through creativity, technology expertise and an in-depth understanding of market realities.
“We needed a full redesign of our website to make it more modern and functional. We chose MVP because of their experience in the private equity industry … we were very pleased with their performance. The team managed the project with a structured approach … Our new website is clean, functional and clearly conveys who we are and what we do. It’s also very easy to update through the tools MVP provided.”
Searching for a distinctive approach to expressing their core competencies, while keeping security in mind, New York-based Cortec Group turned to MVP for their second consecutive website. Cortec’s goals included a sophisticated and easy-to-navigate site that would enhance their brand and connect to North American business owners and management teams. Additionally, they wanted to eliminate the potential for security breaches associated with both database-driven open source and .Net content management systems.
In response, MVP created a unique and professional site with a moving CEO testimonial video and custom photography. To address Cortec’s security concerns, our developers employed a static site generator approach which provides greater security than a traditional CMS. With a combination of innovative design, fluid navigation and intuitive user experience (UX), the site ensures the best interests of the firm and its stakeholders—and just received a Davey Award for its professional services creativity.
Connecting with clients and showing off an impressive portfolio is difficult. Using a dated, content heavy site makes that even harder. So Mason Wells came to MVP for a site that could help them connect with their audiences while effectively promoting their serves and success.
To give Mason Wells the professional look they need to promote their new fund, we refreshed everything from their logo to their navigation. Our team created special, “choose your own adventure” business sector pages that placed specialized imagery on the page to help keep specific audiences interested. We created clean iconography to make case studies powerful, yet simple to browse. To make it quick and easy for clients to stay in touch, we added print functionality on the team page.
Harbour Group has over four decades of building over 188 companies in nearly 40 industries. Seeking a novel design that would separate this St. Louis-based operating company from traditional private equity firms, the client asked MVP to leverage its three core principles: Operationally-Focused, Value-Building Partner and Integrity Driven. MVP responded with a 70:30 split screen approach providing section summaries on the left and descriptive text and imagery on the right. This facilitates a quick read. Such sections as investment criteria, acquisition history and news feature interactive filters and calls-to-action which stimulate viewer interest and engagement. Numerous testimonials, stylish typography and MVP-enhanced portco photos contribute to making Harbour one of the best PE firm sites of its kind.
Keystone Capital, Chicago, came to MVP for a revitalized brand and website. With minimal design equity and content, and no photography, Keystone required a complete asset overhaul. In response, MVP created a new, single-page scrolling site which features engaging videography, portfolio company cameos and team photo section. Well-crafted UX/UI means content flows seamlessly and remains two clicks accessible throughout the new and responsive site. With custom MVP videography and photography, a refreshed logo, and accompanying e-marketing materials, the Keystone project reflects a one-page wonderful approach to modern private equity website design
Visibility makes expertise valuable. New York-based Dominus Capital had the experience, but their website did not effectively portray either their values or status. They needed a cohesive solution to help leverage their years of expertise and communicate their unique proposition as a middle market private equity firm to a broad audience.
Our team designed and developed a streamlined website that uses intuitive navigation to direct visitors throughout the site. We continued the friendly, yet formal image with custom iconography and animations. We created filters, such as the one for the investment history page, to help intermediaries, investors, and business owners locate what they need quickly.
Roadtrek, a Former IOP Portfolio Company
Leading PE firms have selected MVP to improve the sales and profits of their portfolio companies through state-of-the-art responsive, website design and development. For example, Evanston, IL based Industrial Opportunity Partners, tapped MVP to create an impressive new site for Roadtrek – the North American leader in Class B motorhomes. With eye-catching consumer appeal and such functionality as a 22 variable “Build your own Roadtrek” van configurator, a multiple dealer locator tool, and US/Canada currency converter, this digital destination sets a high standard in responsive, WordPress CMS, e-Business websites. IOP subsequently sold Roadtrek to the Erwin Hymer Group, Europe’s leading motor home manufacturer. And MVP continues to provide site updates and SEO on the client’s behalf.
